Gregg joined Halliwell Jones at the start of our Motorrad journey in July 2022. He's been involved in the motoring industry for many years working with a number of premium brands including BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
Gregg passed his motorcycle licence in 2008 and has been in love with bikes ever since. So his current role as Brand Manager at Halliwell Jones Motorrad is his dream job.
Gregg owns a classic CBR 900RR Fireblade, his other interests include aviation and rugby league, supporting Warrington Wolves. So, you'll regularly find him at the Halliwell Jones stadium showing his support.

Louis Beetson
Role: Retail Sales Manager

Louis started his career at Halliwell Jones in 2010. He joined the company as a Parts Apprentice, progressing to become a Service Advisor. He then joined the Sales Team initially as the Product Genius, and then joined the new BMW as a Sales Executive, spending six years in the role.
Louis has been riding bikes since 2013, so it was music to his ears when when we announced the opening of our Motorrad dealership, and he immediately expressed his interest to join the Team!
Louis follows a lot of racing including the Isle Of Man TT, British and World Superbikes and tries to attend as many races as possible. In addition to motorbike racing, he loves to escape to the hills of Wales and Scotland to go hiking.
When going for a ride Louis likes to make the most of it, choosing a bike that’s comfortable enough to munch away the miles! So, the GS Adventure is often his companion.

Dave Cartwright

Dave joined our Motorrad Team following a 12 year career with Apple based at their Liverpool Store looking after Business and Corporate customers.
David is a avid motorcyclist, he currently owns a Triumph Speed Triple and has recently taken delivery of a new 1300 GS. If you've not meet Dave before you may recognise him as he presents many of our YouTube videos featuring our latest bikes along with offers available.

Gareth joined our Team in December 2022 after deciding to make the move from our Used Car Department in Warrington to Halliwell Jones Chester Motorrad.
Gareth has over 30 years experience working in the motor trade, working with premium brands including BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Harley-Davidson Motorcylces.
He's really excited about his new venture with BMW Motorrad, but he's no stranger to motorcycles. He's been riding since 1982!
He has a passion for sports bikes so it will come as no surprise that his favourite bike is the S 1000 RR, however given that he's not getting any younger he's considering a switch to one of our R models for the upright seating position.

Brandon Verdu
Role: Trainee Motorrad Sales Executive

Brandon became part of our team in October 2024. Motorcycles have always been a big part of his life, and he attended his first British Superbike race at Oulton Park when he was just six months old. With a strong family connection to bikes, his father runs a motorcycle training school in Ellesmere Port.
Brandon started his riding journey with a BMW F 650 GS, which he used for commuting, and now proudly rides a new BMW F 900 GS. He brings valuable experience from his last two years at Triumph Chester, and we’re thrilled to have him join our team.

Anna Revell

We're delighted to welcome Anna to our Sales Team. Anna has always been interested in working in the motor industry. Starting with 4 wheels her first job out of university was as a "Meet and Greet" at Fords of Winsford. She then worked as a Service advisor at Dane VW Chester for 5 years, 1999-2004.
Anna started at Woods Motorcycles in 2007 as a Clothing Advisor. When she passed her motorcycle licence in 2009 she then moved to motorbike sales in 2010 selling new Triumph's and new Ducati's as well as used motorbikes, along with accessories and clothing.Anna currently own a Street Triple 675 in Imperial Purple called Xen and loves touring Scotland and Ireland.

Jamie Fitzsimmons

Jamie joined the team with a wealth of professional experience and a lifelong love of motorbikes. After spending 8 years as a mortgage advisor, the global financial crisis prompted a career shift into consulting, where he specialised in streamlining operational processes and creating bespoke technology solutions for the travel and events sector.
Bikes have always been a big part of Jamie's life, ever since his dad bought him his first—a Montesa Cota 348—at age 13. His passion grew from there, with his first road bike being an Aprilia RS125. Nowadays, Jamie rides a Honda Africa Twin 1100 and makes it a point to take at least one big trip each year, with the Isle of Man being the highlight of 2024.
Outside of work and bikes, Jamie is a proud dad to two daughters who keep him on his toes, and he’s a devoted (and long-suffering) Evertonian.

Keith Thompson

Keith is our collection and delivery driver. Keith has a many many years experience in the Motor Industry previously working with commercial vehicles. However, following his retirement Keith decided he'd like to continue to indulge in his passion for motorbikes and joined our Team to help with the collection and delivery of customers bikes.
Keith has been motorcycling since he was 14 years old, buying his first motorbike at 16 and over the years he's owned many BMW motorcycles.
We're delighted to have him on our Team. Keith spends much of his time of the road delivering new bikes for customers up and down the country.

Karl has been passionate about bikes since the age of six, and previously owing two BMW bikes himself. He enjoyed a long career in the military where he managed The Flying Gunners Display Team.

Phil joins the Motorrad team at Halliwell Jones with a wealth of industry experience spanning 26 years, across multiple brands particularly those from Europe.
He has 4 bikes in the current collection and has been riding since the age of 4. His riding includes racing bikes in British, European and World Enduros and is currently on his 4th GS.

Joel Taylor
Role: Service Advisor

Joel joined the motor trade in 2020, previously working with Peugeot in Wallasey and Audi in Liverpool before he joined our Motorrad Team.
Joel has recently started riding and currently has a CBT license, he's planning to push for his A2 license at the start of next year! His favourite BMW bike is the F850 GS Adventure because of it's size and the design of the bike.
Joel is a massive Motorsport nerd and has been watching it for as long as he can remember. He picked up his love for bikes through his Dad and from watching Valentino Rossi win in MotoGP!
He's also passionate about photography and always trying to capture good photos at every motorsport attend he manages to get too.

Sarah Kempster

After working in hospitality management for over 13 years Sarah made the leap following her motorcycle passion and began working in the industry just over two years ago. People may know Sarah from Triumph and Ducati dealerships in North Wales where she working in Aftersales looking after customers servicing, parts and accessories needs.
She loves anything car or bike related and has a keen interest in mechanics and always have a craft or DIY project on the go. She rides her own BMW F 650 GS and can often be found out on rides with her partner and her family.

Paul Hodgson
Role: Motorrad Aftersales Advisor
Favourite Bike: R18 Roctane
Experience: 9 years
Paul has been in the motorcycle industry since he was 20, primarily in Sales, while also gaining experience in nearly every role along the way. He brings nine years of expertise from his time with BMW Motorrad.
Paul has been riding motorcycles since he was 17, passing his test 36 years ago. He still rides almost every day for both commuting and pleasure, covering approximately 12,000 miles annually. His current bike recently surpassed 94,000 miles, with 85,000 of those ridden by him.
Over the years, Paul has been a Formula 2 sidecar passenger, ridden a moped from John O' Groats to Land’s End, attended the Le Mans 24-hour race, and visited both the Isle of Man TT and Indianapolis Moto GP. Paul and his wife, who rides a Triumph 1200, are now planning trips to Faro in 2025 for Europe’s biggest rally, as well as a ride from Denver to Sturgis in the USA for the annual bike meet.

Jacob is passionate about bikes, he's been riding motorcycles since the age of 16. He also attempts to race them (he says hope out weighs the talent) and fan of Isle Of Man TT and sidecar racing. His other hobbies are clay shooting, hunting and horse riding.

John Taylor
Role: Motorrad Service Technician
Favourite Bike: BMW HP2 Pikes Peak Edition
Experience: 9 years
John started riding bikes before he was born, as his parents didn't have a car until he was born. And, from the age of six he rode pillion with his Dad at every chance possible. Motorcycling is definitely in the Taylor blood having 11 family members with bike licences.
At thirteen John started his career, a Saturday job, learning how the prepare straightliner bikes, and attended local race meets! At twenty eight John enrolled on a motorcycle maintenance and repair course and went on to secure a position at Chester Motorrad as a Parts and Accessories Advisor whist finishing his course. He progressed becoming a BMW Accredited Senior Technician and Diagnostic Technician with the IMI. He was invited to sit his Masters assessment, but unfortunately due to Covid 19 he was unable to go ahead.
John is also has a love for Harley-Davidsons and has passed all of the Harley accreditations, but unfortunately didn't get the opportunity to sit his final one due to the closure of his previous company.
John's now the proud Dad to son Jack who is born in 2020, and in his spare time he's planning to spend more time exploring off-road riding which he loves, and is planning on completing the BMW Off Road Skills course soon.

Steve Dixon
Role: Apprentice Technician

Experience: 3 years
Steve entered the motor trade at just 15, beginning his career with Volkswagen as an apprentice technician. He advanced through his IMI qualifications to become an accredited VW Paint Technician, gaining valuable expertise in automotive craftsmanship.
Steve’s passion for motorcycles began at the age of seven, inspired by his dad’s love for Suzuki GSX-R1000s. His own motorcycling journey started with an Aprilia RS660, and he passed his A2 license just six months before joining Halliwell Jones.
The opportunity to work with motorcycles arose when BMW Motorrad was recruiting for an Apprentice Technician. Despite starting over as an apprentice, Steve embraced the challenge, excited to pursue his passion in the motorcycle industry.
Today, motorcycling has become a family affair—Steve’s brother rides an F 900 R, while his dad owns an M 1000 R and a Harley-Davidson.

Kim Parry-Moorhouse

Experience: 30 years
Kim is a long standing member of the Halliwell Jones Team. She joined Halliwell Jones in 2011 when our marketing team were based at our Warrington Centre. During her 13 years with the company Kim has worked with both BMW and MINI brands. When the group acquired the Motorrad franchise Kim joined the Motorrad Team to help promote awareness of the new motorcycle franchise within the local area.
You'll find Kim at all of our Events, helping to meet and greet customers ensuring everyone is looked after on the day. Although Kim doesn't currently have a motorcycle license she an experienced pillion rider as her husband has been riding bikes for over 40 years.
