About the role: MOT Tester- Wilmslow
Here at Halliwell Jones (Wilmslow) Ltd we have an exciting opportunity for a MOT Tester. The position is located at our Wilmslow Centre consisting of Aftersales, Bodyshop and BMW and MINI Sales.

Your Responsibilities
- To conduct MOT inspections and issue MOT documentation in line with DVSA guidelines
- To ensure security of MOT certification process and implement the MOT scheme in compliance with DVSA and company requirements.
- To repair and report any anomalies on vehicles.
What we're looking for
- MOT Class 4 credentials
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent C&G or BTEC accreditation)
- Strong technical knowledge, including full understanding of the MOT Testing Guide and all special notices
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and willing to learn and develop technical knowledge
- Ability to work within given timescales and complete a wide range of tasks
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation abilities
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Full, clean driving licence
- Ability to accurately record chargeable labour and workshop consumables on job cards
- Commitment to maintaining a well-organised and clean workshop environment
