This year we'll be celebrating the 100th Anniversary of BMW Motorrad. There are two new special editions to commemorate the anniversary - the R nineT and the R 18 '100 Years' Edition.
There will also be a special range of BMW Garment and Gear featuring the '100 Years' Heritage Collection.
OUR CELEBRATORY EVENT
On Saturday 1 July we'll be celebrating our first year representing BMW Motorrad, and holding an event the mark both 1 year of Halliwell Jones Chester Motorrad and also 100 Years of BMW Motorrad at our showroom on Sealand Road in Chester.
We look forward to welcoming all of our customers that we have meet along our 12 month journey with BMW motorbikes. The BMW 'Heritage Fleet' will be in attendance and you'll have the opportunity to test ride the new special editions.
TWO NEW MODELS
This year BMW Motorrad are celebrating their 100 year history with two edition models: the BMW R 18 100 Years and the BMW R nineT 100 Years.
With its chrome-plated tank and paint-on-chrome technology, the R nineT is reminiscent of the 1969 R 75/5. With its drop-shaped tank, the R 18 reflects the design of the 1936 R 5.
These two models aimed at real enthusiasts are each limited to 1,923 units.
EDITION 100 YEARS CLOTHING
A perfect match for the anniversary: our Edition 100 Years clothing, accessories and optional equipment. The items are unmistakable, for example, thanks to unique details, special stitching or retro cuts.
