Yesterday, 17 members of the Halliwell Jones team took part in the St. Rocco's Hospice Dragon Boat Race, and what an incredible day it was! With perfect weather and great spirits all around, the event was a huge success, bringing together teams from across the community to raise money for patient care at St. Rocco's Hospice.
We are delighted that this year’s event has raised an amazing £27,000, with the total continuing to rise as more sponsorships come in. We are incredibly proud that Halliwell Jones MINI contributed £925 to this total, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who donated and supported us.
Our team put in a tremendous effort, competing in three consistent heats before making it all the way to the final race. Out of 14 teams, we’re proud to say we finished 3rd! It was a fun and exhilarating experience, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s race, where we’ll be aiming for that 1st place finish.
A huge thank you goes out to everyone who supported us with their kind donations. The funds raised go directly towards the incredible care provided at St. Rocco's Hospice, and we’re honored to be a part of such a worthy cause.
